A Tale of Two Tinas

We first saw the baby hedgehog we christened Tiny Tina over a week ago. She is very active and goes all over the garden exploring. She has a habit of disappearing and reappearing somewhere else, and it was very difficult to keep track of her. A few nights ago we started to suspect that there were actually two Tinas, since even Tina wasn't fast enough to get from one part of the garden to another in such a short time.

Well, last night we finally got the video evidence - two baby hedgehogs on two different cameras at the same time. So, Tina and TinaTwo, although I think it will be a generic Tina until one of them acquires some distinguishing marks. It seems that Tina prefers to visit the patio, while TinaTwo seems to spend a lot of time under the decking or in a garden beyond.

They seem to be similar in size, so perhaps they are from the same litter.

  1. I'm starting to wonder if I've got two Scratchys which would account for me missing that tick. It would be weird if they both had similar markings though.
